Blizzard revealed today that World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, the second expansion for World of Warcraft, will be playable at the 2007 Games Convention in Leipzig in Germany. The Games Convention opens on Wednesday, 22nd August and is open to  public visitors from Thursday the 23rd to Sunday the 26th of August.

European players will be able to play in the new Howling Fjord region of WoW’s Northrend and test themselves in Utgarde Keep, a five-person dungeon located there.

Members from the development teams will be there giving live demonstrations of the games, in addition to interview sessions and presentations for the press. Some experts also expect new drafts of Blizzard to face WoW gold selling.

Here’s the new officicial WoW on the wolrdwide ranking of the top-bosskillers. Meanwhile many others top guilds have cleared the Black Temple now, so they finished the BC content.

A while back Blizzard hinted that they were working on implementing Guild banks into World of Warcraft, which was a feature originally intended for BC. It was then postponed for a later patch. Here’s the article: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=89460946&sid=1

Now we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Guild bank feature is currently scheduled for release in the patch 2.3.

It seems as if Blizzard has found a reasonable way to allow guildes to manage their WoW Gold.

respec cost of wow goldThere are many arguments in favor of making it easier to respec your character. After all, a particular talent build may enable you get into raids but not to play solo effectively - and that’s never enjoyable. The ability to respec lets you switch from one speciality to another and allows you to do a lot of things viably — but at cost of WoW gold each time you do it. At the moment the cost of WoW Gold for a respec maxxes out at fifty World of Warcraft gold, which seems like a high enough amount that it is not a choice which is easily made.

Anyway, on the forums, the poster Murlourin demands respecs need to more expensive and difficult to obtain. What is the argument for this? With the help of the new daily quests available in Outland, the WoW gold to respec every day can be easily farmed, making talent differences more and more meaningless, since a gamer can flip back and forth very quickly. And while Blizzard has mentioned that they want the gamers to be careful with their talent selections, at the moment they think respec costs are still fine.

Well, here’s the chance to state your opinion — is WoW gold so easily to be obtained in Outland that the cost for respec has become meaningless? And if you do think so, is that bad for playing World of Warcraft, or does it just allow „hybrid“ classes a little bit more versatility?
