This is blasphemy, I know. I’m messing with the natural order of things when I suggest something like this. But here’s what I think: Blizzard should give us a release date for World of Warcraft - Wrath of the Lich King!

Excuse me while I duck all those tomatoes. Check out this forum thread, in which Neth voices her feelings about having to deal with wow players asking about a release date for WotLK all the time. She gets as far as saying “later, but sooner than much later,” which basically means next week or the week after.

Fine then. But, in cases like this, why doesn’t Blizzard just go ahead and say a release date for WoW Gold? That would shut everybody up, especially me on wow gold blog, we could all move on with our lives, and Neth wouldn’t have to deal with that stuff. And it doesn’t even need to be accurate– if Blizzard said “patch 2.2 is coming on September 18th,” and then it dropped on the 11th (which is when Blizzard really planned to release it), then everyone would actually be happy that it came out early. And yes, Blizzard doesn’t want to have to explain delays to the wow community but delays are delays– surely videogame fans and wow players have gotten used to it by now.

I’m not saying they need to change their whole company only for wow gold– they’re not going to give us a date for Wrath of the Lich King, and I’m fine with that: I’d rather see it “when it’s finished” (and we will see a release date for it anyway, eventually) But for something like 2.2, where testing is almost complete and they must have some clear idea of when it will drop, why not give us a target, however off it might be? Even “before November,” in my mind, is better than all the question ducking that Neth and the other WoW CMs are doing.

It seems as if WoW gold sellers get creative when they try to figure out new possibilities to advertise past Blizzard’s sophisticated spam filter. The WoW gold sellers created several hundreds of similar gnomes and then postion-hacked these gnomes into mid-air. After that they let them fall to certain doom in such a way that showed the WoW gold selling site’s address. Several gamers on the realms Eitrigg, Arthas and Frostmane have recently told us about this tactic used by several different WoW gold sellers.

The World of Warcraft horde gamers can be happy, anyway, because obviously there’s not enough flat space in Orgrimmar to write such a big domain successfully.

Finally they did it! Blizzard acts against spammers. The end of unsolicited multiline messages!

As many of you know, the latest content patch, along with many new content additions, contains technical counter-measures designed to prevent in-game gold spamming. Our attempts to decrease in-game abuse and create a fun, safe environment for everyone are never-ending.

Having said that, we felt that it was essential to share with the community just how committed we are in our efforts to combat this type of abuse. Blizzard has filed a federal lawsuit against the operators of Peons4hire, a popular World of Warcraft / WoW gold provider which many of you have no doubt seen advertised. As part of the lawsuit, the operators of Peons4hire have been asked to immediately cease all in-game spamming efforts by all entities and websites under their control.

If this world of warcraft gold provider refuses to act accordingly, further legal action will be taken. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date on the progress of this topic.

WoW Visa Cards

They are indeed beautifuld and - who thought that could be possible - they are useful. With a World of Warcraft / WoW visa card the cash you’ve spent will turn into free time, which you can use for World of Warcraft / WoW. One dollar will be equal to one point and 1500 points equal one month free play time in World of Warcraft / WoW. Attention! You might be spending more than 1500$ on World of Warcraft / WoW Gold so use that card and get game-time for free on top of it.
